28-08-2024 jilha Parishad School,Ozervadi,Chiplun Environment ganesh Idol making workshop Ganesha Idol Making Workshop is a creative and energetic activity where people get a chance to make Ganesha Idol with their own hands before Ganesh festival. These workshops imparted training in making idols using different types of clay, shadu clay, eco-friendly materials, and paints. Along with idol making techniques, Headmistress Tejal Pedhambar gave information on making eco-friendly Ganesha idols. He said that this activity provides an opportunity to connect with our culture along with learning the art of making Ganesha idols. Sarthak Mahadik taught the technique of making idols to the children. The main objective of such workshops is to encourage students' creativity and inspire them to celebrate Ganesh festival in an environmentally friendly way. 26-08-2024 Zilla Parishad School No 1 Aagave,Chiplun Humanitarian Good Touch- Bad Touch Lions Club Chiplun Unity started the Rohit Mehta Lions Quest Week with an innovative activity for parents and children - Good Touch and Bad Touch activities.As a social commitment, Lions Club Chiplun Unity is conducting good touch and bad touch sessions as a much needed social service. Lion Deepika Agvekar Clinical Psychologist conducted this session. The initiative started at Zilla Parishad School No. 1 Agwe on 26th August 2024. It is very important to make them aware of good touch and bad touch due to increased social insecurity among young boys and girls. Good touch is one that feels love, affection and security, e.g. Touch from a parent, teacher or loved one. Unpleasant touching is something that causes discomfort, fear or disgust, such as touching someone's hands unnecessarily, indecent touching, etc. Every person in the society must uphold social responsibility in this regard and provide children with a safe, respectful and loving environment. 14-08-2024 Aaji mazi Sainik Nagari Patsanstha,Chiplun Other Raksha Bandhan for border Soldiers Lions Club of Chiplun Unity was conducting an activity of making rakhis for border soldiers. In these activities students of many schools made rakhis themselves and sent them to Lions Club of Chiplun Unity. Lions Club of Chiplun Unity got good response from many schools. Among these schools Zilla Parishad School Kamthe no. 2, Zilla Parishad Purna School Ozharwadi Chiplun, Zilla Parishad School Wadar Colony students made very beautiful rakhis for border jawans and donated them to Lions Club of Chiplun Unity.
